Acid-IRC was first launched in 2005 and had a "rough" patch that we overcame to become a well recognized network with a stable userbase, however, as times got tough for the US economy, Acid-IRC suffered as well which caused it to shut down for a brief period of time. But now we're back and better than ever. Best of all, we're not going anywhere!
